All mdp McDonald Partners lawyers are members of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) and pursue continuing legal education in accordance with the Institute's requirements.
 
mdp McDonald Partners is a member of the International trade mark Association (INTA), an organisation that promotes the rights of trade mark owners. Our participation in this organisation assists us to keep abreast of the latest global developments in this dynamic area of law, and gives us access to the expertise of a vast worldwide member network.
 
mdp also has staff who adhere to the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ), an association that facilitates discussion of current issues in intellectual property law. This involvement assists us to remain up-to-date on current legal developments in this area of law.
