Overview
We were engaged by First National Real Estate to advise its membership network on a range of succession planning issues, and to develop a marketing publication and DVD.
Our client
First National Real Estate is one of Australasia 's largest real estate networks, specialising in all areas of property. Its network consists of approximately 650 members, with its Head Office located in Melbourne, Australia .
Collaboration
We were engaged by First National Real Estate to help develop the skills sets, and thus the preparedness for succession, of their Australian and New Zealand membership network. This process involved Michael McDonald initially conducting workshops at the First National Real Estate Convention, which was attended by over 1000 people. Since then, we have advised a number of First National businesses throughout Australia in restructuring their businesses and in developing and implementing succession plans. Furthermore, we were asked to develop the First National Local Agency Marketing Succession Planning booklet, which has been distributed to First National members in Australia and New Zealand . This booklet provides a quick guide to the human, commercial, legal and tax issues involved in succession planning.
